5 Gadgets to avoid

Tablet

VTech InnoTab Max is the tablet to avoid with cheap construction, sluggish performance, low-res display. The camera quality is poor and the battery life is terrible.

Smartphone

Smartphone to avoid is the Asus ZenFone. It has an impressive display and  aluminum unibody chassis. However, the battery life is very poor. The camera quality is less that acceptable along with the speakers that have low-quality sound.

Wearables

Watch out this year for the cheap wearables. The Xiaomi Mi Band 1S fitness band is among the worst. The Bluetooth connectivity and sync issues are the most common problems.

Headphones

The Philips SHQ3000 earphones are the ones to avoid. They are waterproof and sweat proof, however, they are very uncomfortable and the sound quality is poor.

Gaming Console

The Android Emtec GEM Box.  The gamepad integration and software navigation is uneven. Poor streaming media app selection and implementation.Terrible graphics and very long load times for native Android games.
